COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to develop a strong foundation in electronic and communication engineering, progressing from core principles to advanced applications. In the first year, students build essential knowledge in engineering science, computational skills, and materials and mechanics, alongside studying electronic system fundamentals and design, manufacture, and testing processes. Professional skills and research awareness are also introduced to support academic and career development. In the second year, students expand their technical expertise through modules such as embedded systems, signal analysis and control, and communications, while also studying electronics and electrical principles at a more advanced level. An enterprise-focused module in electronic product design and manufacture provides practical experience in developing real-world engineering solutions. In the final year, students focus on specialised and advanced topics, including communication systems, digital signal processing applications, and both analogue and digital system integration. A significant part of the final year is the individual project, where students apply their knowledge to a specific engineering problem, demonstrating their technical and analytical skills. Overall, the course combines theoretical understanding with practical application, preparing students for careers in electronic and communication engineering and related technology fields.
