COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business BA(Hons) at Huddersfield provides a comprehensive education in global business practices, combining theoretical understanding with practical application. In the first year, students develop foundational skills through modules such as Global Business Management, Principles of Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Accounting for Managers, Business Analytics, and ASPIRE 1, which focuses on personal and professional skills. The second year builds on this foundation with ASPIRE 2, a live business project, alongside Data Analysis for Business, Business and Societal Impact, International Business, Creating a New Business, and People Management, enabling students to apply knowledge to real-world scenarios. The final year emphasizes professional readiness and strategic thinking through ASPIRE 3 – Professional Portfolio, Strategic Management, and Managing Across Cultures, preparing students to operate effectively in diverse international contexts. Students can also tailor their studies via two routes, covering modules such as International Marketing, Responsible Business, International Law, Global Financial Management, The Future of Work, and an Undergraduate Dissertation. Throughout the program, students gain analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills while developing a global perspective on business, cultural awareness, and strategic decision-making.
