COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fintech MSc program combines finance, technology, and data analysis to prepare students for careers in the rapidly growing financial technology sector. The course provides students with both technical knowledge and business understanding through core modules such as Principles of Finance, Financial Reporting and Company Performance, Data Analysis and Visualisation, Managing Big Data, and Distributed Ledger Technologies. These modules help students understand financial systems, analyse complex data, and explore emerging technologies such as blockchain and digital financial platforms that are transforming the global financial services industry. Students also complete The Global Professional module, which develops important employability, communication, leadership, and professional skills required in international business environments. In addition to the core subjects, students can customise their learning experience through optional modules including Strategic Management, Reward Management, Managing Sustainable Challenges, Emotional Intelligence for the Effective Leader, Leading, Managing and Developing People, and The Curious Mindset. These modules broaden students’ understanding of leadership, organisational management, sustainability, and personal effectiveness in professional settings.
