COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business Occupational and Work Psychology program provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply psychological principles in organisational settings. Core modules such as Evidence-Based Practice and Mixed Methods Research develop students’ ability to critically evaluate research and apply rigorous methods to workplace issues. Modules like Culture Change and Leadership and Individuals in the Workplace focus on understanding organisational dynamics, employee behaviour, and strategies for promoting effective leadership, engagement, and well-being. Learning, Training and Development, and Consulting and Psychological Assessment provide practical skills in designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions to improve individual and organisational performance. The program culminates in the Work Psychology Project, which enables students to undertake an in-depth research or applied project, synthesising theoretical knowledge, research skills, and practical application. Throughout the course, students gain experience in analysing complex organisational challenges, applying psychological assessment tools, and developing evidence-based solutions. This combination of theoretical study, practical skill-building, and research experience ensures that graduates are well-prepared for professional roles in human resources, organisational consultancy, training and development, or occupational psychology. The program equips students with the expertise, critical thinking, and professional competence required to enhance workplace effectiveness and employee well-being across diverse organisational contexts.
