COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Human Resource Management program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, strategies, and practical skills required to manage people effectively within modern organisations. Core modules such as Strategic People Management and Development, Business Research in People Practice, and Personal Effectiveness and Leadership equip students with the ability to align HR strategies with organisational objectives, develop leadership capabilities, and conduct research to inform evidence-based HR decisions. Optional modules, including Employment Law, Contemporary Employment Relations, Strategic Reward, People Resourcing, and Strategic Learning and Development, allow students to explore specialised areas of human resource management, addressing issues such as workforce diversity, global HR practices, ethics, and organisational change. Additional modules such as Effective Work Psychology, Contemporary Issues in Work Psychology, and People Management Across Cultures provide insights into employee behaviour, motivation, and cross-cultural management, essential for managing a diverse and international workforce. The program culminates in the PG HRM Dissertation or Management Research Project, enabling students to undertake independent research and apply analytical and practical skills to real-world HR challenges. The PG CPD module ensures continuous professional development throughout the course.
