COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Global Human Resource Management program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human resource practices in an international context, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills essential for managing diverse workforces. Core modules such as Strategic People Management and Development, Business Research in People Practice, Personal Effectiveness and Leadership, Global HRM, and People Management Across Cultures equip students with the ability to design and implement HR strategies that align with organisational goals while addressing global workforce challenges. Optional modules, including Employment Law, Contemporary Employment Relations, Strategic Reward, People Resourcing, Strategic Learning and Development, Ethics in Business, Effective Work Psychology, and Contemporary Issues in Work Psychology, allow students to explore specialised areas of HR, such as employee motivation, organisational change, ethical decision-making, and psychological aspects of work. The program culminates in the PG HRM Dissertation or Management Research Project, giving students the opportunity to conduct independent research and apply analytical and practical skills to real-world HR issues. The PG CPD module ensures continuous professional development throughout the course. By integrating theoretical understanding, research skills, and practical applications, the program prepares graduates to become strategic, innovative, and effective HR professionals, capable of managing global workforces, driving organisational change, and contributing positively to both organisational performance and societal impact.
