COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Laws (LLM) program offers a wide range of modules, allowing students to tailor their studies according to personal and professional interests while gaining a comprehensive understanding of contemporary legal issues. Core elements of the program include compulsory modules in research methods and skills, as well as the LLM dissertation, which enables students to undertake in-depth, independent research and develop critical analysis, academic writing, and problem-solving abilities. A variety of optional modules allows students to specialize in areas such as banking law, international financial law, data protection law, medical law and ethics, employment law, legal risk and compliance, copyright and artificial intelligence law, public and private international law, international human rights law, intellectual property law, and international commercial law. The program also offers applied and experiential learning through modules such as clinical legal education and research, providing practical insights into professional legal practice. Additional options, including company law, crimes of the powerful, and global policing and law enforcement, enable students to explore niche areas of law and policy. By combining theoretical knowledge, practical application, and research expertise, the LLM equips graduates with the skills and experience necessary to pursue careers in law, academia, business, or other professional sectors, while fostering critical thinking, analytical ability, and professional competence.
