COURSE CURRICULUM

The Physics with Space Science degree at the University of Hertfordshire provides a comprehensive education in both fundamental physics and space science, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. Career Planning and Development modules prepare students for professional opportunities. In the final year, students engage with advanced and specialised topics including Rocket Performance and Propulsion, Condensed States of Matter, The Physics of Elementary Particles, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Space Dynamics, and the Space Science and Physics Project and Investigative Skills module, which offers independent research experience. Optional modules such as Satellite Communications, Computational Physics, Applied Photonics, and Foundations of Cosmology allow further specialisation, while opportunities for professional placements or a year abroad enhance practical experience.
