COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business and FinTech degree is structured over three years to develop both business management expertise and specialist FinTech skills. In the first year, students gain a solid foundation through modules such as Skills for Success in FinTech, Developing Your Future Career in FinTech, and Business Decisions in Practice, while also exploring entrepreneurial approaches through Entrepreneurial Leadership for Social Impact. Professional development is supported through the continuous SPP module. The second year builds technical and analytical skills with modules like The Modern Financial System and Data Analysis for FinTech, alongside the Sustainability Impact Project, which introduces students to the importance of responsible and sustainable business practices. A key feature is the Live Business Challenge, where students apply their learning to real-world problems, supported by ongoing professional practice development through DPP. In the final year, the course advances specialist knowledge with modules in Financial Technologies (FinTech) and Investment and Portfolio Management, preparing students for careers in finance, technology, and business. The Strategic Business Solutions Applied Consultancy Project offers consultancy-style, hands-on experience, while modules such as Graduate Career Readiness and EPP ensure students are equipped with the confidence, professionalism, and adaptability to succeed in the fast-evolving FinTech and business landscape.
