COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Management degree is structured over three years to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and practical experience in preparation for leadership and management roles. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules such as Introduction to Management in Business Operations, Management Skills for the Modern World, and Innovation and Cultural Strategies, while also developing social awareness through Driving Social Impact and professional growth via Supporting Personal and Management Professional Practice (SPP). The second year focuses on applied learning and career development, with modules including Career Planning for Future Leaders, Decision Making in Organisations, Policy, Ethics and Governance for Managers, and the Collaborative Business Proposal, which encourages teamwork and practical problem solving. Students also continue their professional development through the Developing Personal and Management Professional Practice (DPP) module. In the third year, the program emphasises real-world application and advanced management skills. Students undertake the Live Management Challenge, a comprehensive project that simulates professional management scenarios, alongside modules such as Innovation and Commercial Venturing and Management in Different Sectors and Specialisms. The Evaluating Personal and Management Professional Practice (EPP) module ensures students reflect on and consolidate their learning. Graduates leave the degree equipped with leadership, analytical, and strategic skills, ready to succeed across diverse industries and management roles.
