COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Management degree is structured over three years to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to thrive in leadership and management roles. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules such as Business Decisions in Practice, Skills for Success in Management, and Developing Your Future Career in Management, while also engaging with Entrepreneurial Leadership for Social Impact. Personal and business professional practice is supported through a continuous development module to encourage growth. The second year advances analytical and operational understanding with modules like Data for Decision-Making and Responsible Operations, Systems and Practice, alongside the Sustainability Impact Project, which highlights the importance of addressing contemporary global challenges. Students also participate in a Live Business Challenge, applying their learning to practical, real-world scenarios while continuing to build professional skills through DPP. The final year consolidates strategic and leadership capabilities through modules such as Strategic Decision-Making for Change, People, Culture and Leadership, and the Graduate Career Readiness program. A key feature of the third year is the Strategic Business Solutions Applied Consultancy Project, which allows students to work on consultancy-style projects, preparing them to transition into careers with the confidence, adaptability, and expertise required in modern business environments.
