COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business and Marketing degree is delivered over three years, combining business foundations with specialist marketing knowledge to prepare students for creative and strategic roles. In the first year, students focus on developing essential skills through modules such as Skills for Success in Marketing, Developing Your Future Career in Marketing, and Business Decisions in Practice, while also exploring entrepreneurial thinking with Entrepreneurial Leadership for Social Impact. Professional growth is supported through the SPP module, which runs alongside academic learning. The second year builds practical expertise with modules such as Entrepreneurial Marketing in Practice and Responsible Marketing, which encourage students to apply creative and ethical approaches to modern marketing challenges. The Sustainability Impact Project broadens awareness of responsible business practices, while the Live Business Challenge offers hands-on experience in tackling real-world issues, supported by the DPP module for professional development. In the final year, students refine their expertise with Advanced Marketing Strategy and Practice, and Brand Impact: Crafting Personal and Corporate Identities, which focus on campaign strategy, brand building, and identity creation. The Strategic Business Solutions Applied Consultancy Project provides consultancy-style experience, while Graduate Career Readiness and the EPP module ensure students leave with the confidence, professionalism, and skills to thrive in marketing careers.
