COURSE CURRICULUM

This LLB Law degree with an Individual Rights pathway focuses on developing a strong understanding of legal principles while exploring how law protects and regulates the rights of individuals in society. The programme is structured over three years, beginning with essential legal foundations and progressing towards specialist areas connected with human rights, justice and individual protection. In the final year, students specialise further through modules including Equity and Trusts, Employment Law, Human Rights, Medical Law, International Criminal Law and Legal Research Dissertation. These areas provide deeper insight into the protection of personal rights, equality, justice, healthcare decisions, workplace rights and international legal responsibilities. The dissertation module enables students to conduct independent research on a rights-based legal topic, developing advanced skills in legal investigation, critical analysis and academic writing. Throughout the course, students engage with practical legal scenarios, case studies and interactive teaching activities that strengthen their ability to interpret legislation, evaluate legal arguments and apply legal principles effectively.
