COURSE CURRICULUM

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business creation, innovation, leadership, and management while preparing them to launch and manage successful ventures in dynamic business environments. In the first stage of study, students complete core modules including The Global Business Environment, Academic, Personal and Professional Development, Enterprise and Innovation, Managing Finance, Leadership and Management in an Organisational Context, Live Management Enquiry Project, Business and the Legal System, and Marketing Principles. These modules introduce students to the operation of organisations within complex stakeholder environments while developing knowledge of finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, and legal frameworks that influence business activities. Students strengthen their communication, analytical, and professional skills through presentations, projects, and practical learning experiences. In the second stage, students undertake modules including Accounting for Finance and Decision Makers, Exploring Entrepreneurship, Employability and Entrepreneurship, Creating and Delivering Operational Plans, Managing Projects to Achieve Results, Applied Management Skills, and Digital Marketing Fundamentals. These modules focus on developing financial literacy, business performance measurement, operational management, project planning, and entrepreneurial thinking while equipping students with the practical skills required to identify opportunities and make informed management decisions. Students also gain experience in communicating financial information to stakeholders and understanding the challenges associated with growing and sustaining businesses. In the final stage of the programme, students study Sustainability and Globally Responsible Leadership, Entrepreneurial Practice, Strategic Business and Management, Strategic Management of People and Change, Leadership and Management in Global Contexts, Capstone Business Project, and Strategic Marketing. These modules encourage students to explore the role of sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility in entrepreneurship while developing strategic leadership and business management capabilities. Students critically evaluate the responsibilities of organisations within global societies and examine how business leaders can contribute to sustainable development and innovation. Overall, the programme prepares graduates for careers as entrepreneurs, business founders, innovation managers, consultants, and business leaders by combining entrepreneurial knowledge with practical business and leadership skills.
