COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Management program is a comprehensive and dynamic course designed to equip students with a deep understanding of all core aspects of modern business. The structure spans three semesters, beginning with a strong foundation in business and management theory, progressing into research skills development, and culminating in an independent dissertation project. The course draws on the expertise of Norwich Business School, offering a multidisciplinary approach that integrates management with finance, marketing, operations, human resources, and organisational behaviour.In the first semester, students take two compulsory modules: Responsible Business and Marketing Theory and Practice. These modules introduce key debates in corporate governance, business ethics, and marketing, both in theory and real-world application. Students examine global issues such as board diversity, corporate restructuring, and marketing’s role in private and public sectors.The second semester deepens this foundation with modules such as Sustainable HRM, which explores how human resource strategies can be aligned with sustainability goals to achieve both organisational success and positive societal impact. Alongside, students engage in Business Research Methods, a year-long module that introduces various qualitative and quantitative research tools. This module prepares students for their dissertation by teaching them how to design research projects, collect and analyse data, and critically interpret findings.In the third and final semester, students apply their knowledge and research training by completing a dissertation. This independent project allows them to investigate a management-related topic of their choice, using academic research and real-world data to explore new ideas or solve practical business problems. The dissertation serves as a key piece of evidence of a student's analytical abilities and subject mastery, and is a valuable asset for those aiming to enter the professional world or pursue further academic study.
