COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Accounting and Financial Management course is structured to provide a comprehensive and globally relevant education in accounting and financial management. It emphasizes international standards and financial regulations, ensuring students gain knowledge applicable in diverse business environments. The course begins with a broad foundation in accounting and business fundamentals, including human resources, marketing, and entrepreneurship, enabling students to build cross-disciplinary understanding and soft skills like communication and teamwork. Core modules include Managing People and Organisations, which explores both hard and soft aspects of human resource and organizational behavior; Strategic Marketing Management, focusing on the strategic application of marketing principles globally; and International Financial Reporting, which covers the framework and debates surrounding international accounting standards. Managerial Accounting teaches the strategic use of accounting information, while Performance Management and Reporting addresses financial analysis for stakeholder decision-making, including ESG concerns. Integrated Business Decisions employs game-based learning to enhance team strategy and real-world application. Accounting and Financial Management introduces the fundamentals of accounting systems and financial decision-making, offering students essential skills for interpreting financial data. Corporate Financial Management dives into corporate finance principles such as governance, valuation, capital structure, and mergers.
