COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Digital Business is a one-year course designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies are transforming modern business practices. In the first semester, students are introduced to key concepts of digital business, exploring how companies invest in emerging technologies to enhance customer experience, digitalise operations, and foster cultural change. Modules in this term also focus on marketing theory and practice, as well as supply chain and operations management, giving students a well-rounded view of global, technology-driven business environments. In the second semester, students delve deeper into digital transformation, learning to analyze and plan strategic changes driven by digital innovation at both firm and industry levels. This is paired with training in research methods to prepare for the dissertation. Students also choose from a variety of optional modules, such as social media marketing, innovation and technology management, or organizational behavior, allowing them to tailor their studies to their interests or career goals. In the final semester, students complete a dissertation under supervision, which serves as a capstone project integrating the knowledge and analytical skills acquired throughout the course. This self-directed research piece encourages critical thinking and the application of digital business strategies in a real-world context. The course not only equips students with a strong theoretical foundation but also emphasizes practical and research skills, preparing them for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
