In your first year, you'll study a compulsory core module that lays a strong foundation for understanding psychological theory and research, with a particular focus on how this knowledge is applied in the real world. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will plan and execute a research project, employing specific data collection and analysis techniques such as interviewing, survey work, or experimental design.The compulsory module in Year 4 is the "Research Project" (PSY-6002Y), worth 40 credits. This project provides the opportunity to demonstrate your research abilities, applying all the skills you have developed over the course of your studies. You'll also select from a range of optional modules, allowing you to specialize in certain areas of psychology or adopt a more cross-disciplinary perspective, depending on your interests.
