COURSE CURRICULUM

The economics degree program offers a structured approach to developing both theoretical and practical knowledge across four years. In the first year, students are introduced to foundational concepts in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and essential mathematical and statistical methods. Modules like Introductory Mathematics for Economists and Statistics and Data Analytics for Economists help build the quantitative skills necessary for economic modeling and data analysis. These foundational courses provide the groundwork for more specialized studies in later years.In the second year, students have the opportunity to focus on areas of particular interest, such as econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. This year also allows students to refine their analytical skills and explore various economic models in greater depth.The third year is dedicated to gaining practical experience through a work placement, where students spend between nine and twelve months working full-time in a relevant area of their choice. Additionally, students can undertake a dissertation or consulting project, allowing them to explore a topic of interest in depth.
