COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA in Business Management is structured to provide a comprehensive and flexible learning journey over four years. In the first year, students are introduced to the core principles of business through six compulsory modules, covering areas such as accounting and finance, marketing, data management, business environment, and organisational behaviour. An applied business project allows for the exploration of real-world issues and encourages students to think critically and independently. This foundational year not only prepares students for deeper study but also offers the flexibility to transfer to other business-related degrees if interests evolve. Year two builds on this by focusing on more specialised topics such as managing people and strategic awareness, along with a range of optional modules that help students tailor their degree to their own interests—ranging from marketing communications to business ethics. This phase is designed to broaden understanding while refining strategic and managerial skills. The third year is a transformative period where students apply their knowledge on an international scale through a year abroad, immersing themselves in different cultures and learning global business practices, significantly enhancing their personal and professional development. The final year centres on strategic management and includes a major individual project, either a dissertation or a work-based study. Students also choose from a wide range of electives to shape their own academic focus, with options like entrepreneurship or management consultancy available.
