COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Management consists of a carefully designed curriculum that develops advanced knowledge and practical skills across the key areas of modern business management and leadership. Core modules include Contemporary and Sustainable Leadership and Management, Leading, Managing and Developing People, The Changing Business Environment and Leading Strategically, Strategic and Financial Performance Management, Risk Management in a Global Context, and a Management Project, with optional modules in Contemporary Marketing Challenges and Global Supply Chain Management and Logistics, allowing students to tailor the programme to their career interests. The Contemporary and Sustainable Leadership and Management module introduces the evolution of leadership and management theories from their historical origins to modern practice, examining how economic, social, technological, and environmental changes have shaped contemporary leadership approaches. Students critically evaluate traditional and emerging leadership theories, explore the relationship between organisations and the external environment, and investigate sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical leadership within modern business. The module also develops research capabilities by teaching students how to collect, analyse, and synthesise primary and secondary data to contribute to current knowledge of leadership and management while encouraging critical reflection on their own leadership style and future professional development. Throughout the programme, students strengthen strategic thinking, people management, financial decision-making, organisational leadership, and risk management skills while developing the ability to respond effectively to complex business challenges. The Management Project enables students to apply their learning to a real business issue through independent research and practical problem-solving. Graduates leave the programme with advanced analytical, research, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills that prepare them for management, consultancy, operations, project management, business development, and leadership roles across private, public, and international organisations.
