COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Business and Human Resource Management programme includes two major independent study modules: Independent Study: Research Methods (20 credits) and Independent Study: Dissertation (40 credits), which enable students to develop advanced research capabilities and apply their knowledge to significant international business and HRM challenges. The Research Methods module provides students with the skills required to design and conduct a rigorous research project by developing research questions, reviewing academic literature, selecting appropriate methodologies, analysing data, and considering ethical research practices. Building on this foundation, the Dissertation module allows students to undertake an in-depth investigation into a chosen topic related to international business or human resource management, demonstrating critical analysis, independent thinking, project management, and the ability to produce evidence-based recommendations. Throughout the programme, students experience a variety of teaching and learning approaches designed to support both academic development and professional growth, including lectures, group activities, workshops, discussions, case studies, practical data analysis, and networking opportunities with professionals.
