COURSE CURRICULUM

The programme includes a 60-credit Independent Study component that enables students to develop advanced research, analytical, and critical thinking skills through independent academic investigation. The 20-credit Research Methods module provides a strong foundation in research design, literature review, data collection, data analysis, and ethical research practices, preparing students to undertake rigorous academic and professional research. Building on this knowledge, the 40-credit Dissertation requires students to complete an in-depth research project on a topic relevant to their field of study, applying appropriate research methodologies to investigate real-world issues, evaluate evidence, and present well-supported conclusions under academic supervision. This independent study enhances students’ problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills while demonstrating their ability to conduct high-quality research. The university regularly reviews and updates module content to ensure the curriculum remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry developments, helping to enhance both the student learning experience and graduate employability.
