COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management, Supply Chain and Logistics programme provides a structured learning journey that develops students’ expertise in business management, logistics, procurement, and global supply chain operations across three years of study. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in core business disciplines by studying organisational behaviour, operations and supply chain management, business economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. They gain an understanding of how organisations operate, how employee behaviour influences workplace performance, and how management theories can be applied to solve practical business challenges while developing analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. In the second year, students develop specialist knowledge in logistics and supply chain management while strengthening their understanding of sustainability and responsible business practices. Modules cover global logistics planning, sustainable supply chains, business data analytics, employee engagement, personal and professional development, and responsible management. Students explore ethical leadership, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, climate change, environmental responsibility, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while learning how to design efficient logistics systems, manage sustainable supply chains, and improve operational performance. In the final year, students build advanced strategic and leadership capabilities through modules in global business and strategy, international purchasing and supply chain management, supply chain strategy, leadership development, and a business consultancy project. They examine international trade, global economic trends, procurement strategies, strategic supply chain management, corporate governance, and business sustainability while developing the ability to evaluate complex logistics challenges and make informed strategic decisions. The consultancy project enables students to apply their knowledge to real organisational problems, strengthening their research, analytical, project management, communication, and decision-making skills. Throughout the programme, students develop critical thinking, leadership, commercial awareness, digital capabilities, and problem-solving skills while gaining practical knowledge of global logistics, procurement, inventory management, and sustainable supply chain operations. By integrating business management with specialist expertise in logistics and supply chain management, the course prepares graduates for careers in supply chain management, logistics operations, procurement, purchasing, transportation, distribution, warehouse management, operations management, business consultancy, and leadership roles across manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, logistics providers, and multinational organisations operating within increasingly complex global supply networks.
