COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management (Entrepreneurship) programme provides a progressive learning experience that develops students’ knowledge of business management, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation over three years. In the first year, students establish a strong foundation in essential business disciplines by studying organisational behaviour, operations and supply chain management, business economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. They learn how organisations function, how employee behaviour influences business performance, and how management theories can be applied to solve workplace challenges through practical case studies and coursework. The second year focuses on responsible management, sustainability, innovation, and enterprise development. Students explore ethical leadership, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, climate change, social responsibility, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while gaining practical knowledge in business data analytics, employee engagement, innovation implementation, social and sustainable enterprise, and personal and professional development. These modules help students understand how businesses can create long-term economic, social, and environmental value while developing the skills needed to evaluate business opportunities and manage innovation effectively. In the final year, students strengthen their strategic management, leadership, and entrepreneurial capabilities by studying global business and strategy, leadership development, freelancing, enterprise creation, and international business growth. They examine global economic trends, international trade, business regulation, strategic management, and the challenges of operating in competitive international markets. Through a business consultancy project, students apply their knowledge to real organisational challenges while developing advanced research, analytical, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Modules focusing on freelancing and developing a global enterprise prepare students to launch and manage their own businesses, work independently, or support entrepreneurial growth within established organisations. Throughout the programme, students build creativity, critical thinking, leadership, communication, teamwork, and commercial awareness while learning to identify business opportunities and transform innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. By combining business management principles with entrepreneurship, sustainability, and strategic leadership, the course prepares graduates for careers as entrepreneurs, business consultants, innovation managers, project managers, business development professionals, and leaders capable of driving growth and creating value in both national and international business environments.
