COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management and Business Technology programme provides a progressive learning experience that develops students’ knowledge of business management, technology, leadership, and strategic decision-making across three years of study. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in core business disciplines by studying organisational behaviour, operations and supply chain management, information technology, business economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. They learn how organisations function, how employees and teams influence business performance, and how business theories can be applied to solve practical workplace challenges through case studies and coursework. In the second year, the focus shifts towards responsible management, sustainability, professional development, and the effective use of technology and data in business. Students explore ethical leadership, corporate governance, stakeholder management, climate change, global social responsibility, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals while gaining practical skills in business intelligence, data analytics, employee engagement, and the corporate IT landscape. They develop the ability to interpret business data, use digital technologies to support decision-making, and understand how organisations can create sustainable economic, social, and environmental value. In the final year, students build advanced leadership, consultancy, and strategic management capabilities by examining global business environments, international trade, economic change, corporate governance, organisational transformation, strategic information technology, and IT business analysis. They also complete a business consultancy project that enables them to apply their knowledge to real organisational challenges while strengthening research, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Throughout the programme, students develop critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and professional decision-making abilities that are highly valued by employers. The combination of business management principles with technology-focused learning ensures graduates understand how digital innovation supports organisational success and competitive advantage. By integrating business strategy, information technology, sustainability, analytics, and leadership, the course prepares graduates for careers in business management, business analysis, digital transformation, operations, consultancy, project management, and other technology-driven management roles in both national and international organisations.
