Sport Leadership and Management MBA will provide you with specialised knowledge and practical skills in strategic leadership, sports, and physical activity, preparing you for leadership roles within the global sport sector. In the Sport in the Global Context unit, you will examine how sport is developed and delivered worldwide, analysing the political, social, and economic factors that shape the sector and exploring how sport can be leveraged as a tool for social good and global development. Strategy Analysis in the Global Environment focuses on strategic management in sport, enabling you to critically evaluate data and industry information to formulate and implement effective strategies that address leadership and management challenges. Leading and Managing Sustainable Organisations develops your understanding of responsible leadership, ethical decision-making, and stakeholder engagement while applying management principles across areas such as human resources and finance within sporting organisations. In Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sport, you will engage with a sports organisation to identify opportunities for innovation, develop research proposals, and explore strategies for promoting entrepreneurship and change in the sector. The program culminates in the MBA Applied Project, allowing you to integrate your leadership and management knowledge in a real-world sports environment, tackling complex organisational challenges while considering stakeholder interests and organisational values, and equipping you to make a meaningful impact in sport management and leadership.
