COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is structured over three years to develop a strong understanding of travel, aviation, and tourism management alongside essential business skills. In the first year, students build a foundation in numeracy, teamwork, and professional development while gaining insight into the structure and regulation of the air transport industry and learning key people management skills within tourism and aviation contexts. In the second year, the focus shifts to broader industry knowledge and analytical skills. Students explore the relationship between tourism and society, study airline revenue management to understand financial and economic aspects, and examine global airline, airport, and cargo operations. They also learn research methods and the impact of digital transformation on marketing, while selecting optional modules to tailor their studies. In the final year, students engage with advanced topics such as tourist destination development and the management of safety and security in air transport, including understanding risks and regulatory systems. Additional optional modules allow further specialisation in areas like sustainability, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The course concludes with a business project, where students apply research and analytical skills to a real-world problem, preparing them for careers in the global travel, aviation, and tourism industries.
