COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is structured over three years to support the development of creative skills, critical thinking, and professional practice in art and design. In the first year, students are introduced to fundamental concepts, exploring how art and design influence culture and society while experimenting with a range of materials, tools, and techniques. They learn to turn ideas into visual outcomes and develop skills in creating both still and moving images in different environments. In the second year, the focus shifts toward refining individual style and building a professional portfolio. Students engage in collaborative and independent projects that reflect real-world creative practices, while also studying global perspectives and theories related to visual culture. They further strengthen their technical abilities through more focused studio work and experimentation. In the final year, students concentrate on producing a final major project, creating a personal body of work that is showcased in a public exhibition. Alongside this, they prepare for future careers by developing professional strategies and understanding the creative industries. They also explore contemporary debates and critical ideas in art and design, enabling them to position their work within a broader context and confidently transition into professional practice.
