COURSE CURRICULUM

The Computing (Computer Networks Engineering) MSc includes a range of core modules that provide a strong foundation in advanced computing. The Databases module (20 credits, CSYM017) focuses on the design, implementation, and management of database systems, equipping students with the knowledge to handle large-scale data storage and retrieval essential for modern information systems. The Visual Object Software module (20 credits, CSYM025) introduces students to object-oriented programming and visual development tools, helping them develop the skills to design, build, and test robust software applications. This module strengthens problem-solving abilities and supports the creation of efficient and maintainable software solutions. The Modern Computer Architecture module (20 credits, CSYM028) explores the structure and functioning of contemporary computer systems, with an emphasis on hardware design, processing performance, and system integration.
