COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA International Business Management degree is structured over three years to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global business practices, cross-cultural management, and strategic decision-making. In the first year, students focus on foundational concepts through compulsory modules including Social Impact of International Organisations, International Business in Practice, International Trade and Commerce, Working Across Cultures, and Intercultural Management. These modules introduce students to the social, economic, and cultural dimensions of international business, while developing skills in communication, collaboration, and cultural awareness. In the second year, the curriculum emphasizes applied and strategic aspects of global business, with modules such as International Strategy, Data for Decision Making, FDI and Multinational Enterprises, Organisational Challenges in International Business, and Reflections on International Business. Students learn to analyse international markets, evaluate investment decisions, and address organisational and operational challenges in diverse contexts. The final year builds on this knowledge through modules including Social Responsibility in Practice, Contemporary Issues in International Business, Trade and Trade Blocs, Negotiating Across Cultures, and the International Business Project. Students apply their learning in practical, research-based, and problem-solving contexts, consolidating their understanding of ethical, socially responsible, and strategic practices. Across all three years, the program equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to succeed in international business roles or pursue further postgraduate study.
