COURSE CURRICULUM

The compulsory modules in this MSc User Experience (UX) Design course are designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of UX principles, research, and practical application. The Research Methods module provides the foundation for designing and conducting robust user research, enabling students to gather and analyse data to inform design decisions. User-Centred Design focuses on understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations, teaching students to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Prototyping and Evaluation allows students to translate ideas into tangible solutions, testing and refining designs to ensure usability and effectiveness. IT Projects and programs develops skills in managing digital projects, including planning, coordination, and implementation, providing insights into real-world technology-driven initiatives. The Advanced Topics in User Experience module explores emerging trends, tools, and methodologies, encouraging innovation and critical thinking in UX design. Industry Project offers practical exposure by applying learned concepts to real-world challenges, collaborating with organizations to deliver impactful solutions. The Master’s Project serves as a capstone, integrating research, design, and practical application, allowing students to demonstrate their ability to lead a comprehensive UX project independently. Collectively, these modules balance theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, preparing students to excel as user-focused designers capable of creating effective, innovative, and meaningful digital experiences across diverse industries.
