COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Additive Manufacturing course is designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge in 3D printing technologies and their practical applications across a wide range of industries. The program includes compulsory modules such as Research Methods, MSc Project (Engineering), Additive Manufacturing Technologies, Build Your Own 3D Printer, Product Innovation, Reverse Engineering, and Advanced Materials and Materials Selection. These modules provide a comprehensive understanding of additive manufacturing processes, materials science, product development, and design optimisation, while offering hands-on experience in building and operating 3D printing systems. Students gain expertise in analysing and selecting appropriate materials, applying innovative design techniques, and integrating additive processes into real-world engineering projects.
