COURSE CURRICULUM

The MRes Management course focuses on developing advanced research skills and critical understanding of modern business practices. Through modules such as Critical Issues in Business and Management Research, students examine key debates, theories, and emerging challenges in management, gaining insight into how research informs strategic and operational decisions within organizations. The Research Methods module provides comprehensive training in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, enabling students to design and conduct robust studies that address real-world business problems. This includes learning to gather, analyze, and interpret data effectively to support evidence-based decision-making. The Research Project serves as the capstone of the program, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills to an independent piece of research in a chosen area of management. This project encourages critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual independence, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Together, these modules equip students with the analytical and methodological expertise required for professional advancement or further academic study, such as a PhD.
