COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Graphic Design course is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and creative confidence required to excel in the dynamic field of visual communication. Across the program, students are encouraged to develop their own personal projects, guided by research and supervision, allowing them to explore topics that reflect both their interests and current industry trends. Core modules such as Research Methodologies and Research in Context provide a strong foundation in theoretical frameworks, enabling students to critically evaluate and apply design principles to their work. Reflective Practice encourages self-assessment and critical thinking, helping students to understand their creative processes and professional development. Experimental Practice and Specialist Practice modules focus on hands-on application, providing opportunities to experiment with different techniques, materials, and technologies, fostering innovation and problem-solving skills. The Graphic Design Advanced Practice module serves as a capstone, allowing students to integrate research, experimentation, and professional practice into a substantial project that demonstrates both technical expertise and conceptual insight.
