COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB (Hons) Law with Business degree is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of both legal principles and business practices, preparing them for versatile careers in law, commerce, and related professional sectors. In the first year, students are introduced to the foundations of law and business, studying modules such as criminal law, contract law, English and EU legal systems, introduction to business and marketing, and professional skills and employability. This establishes a strong base in legal reasoning while fostering essential business knowledge and professional capabilities. In the second year, students advance their understanding through modules including tort law, international and European law, developing business ideas, and responsible marketing, alongside opportunities to explore optional subjects such as digital marketing, family law, and digital investigation. This combination enhances analytical, research, and practical skills relevant to both legal and business contexts. In the final year, students consolidate their learning with advanced modules like equity and trusts, land law, and professional employability, while optional modules allow exploration of specialized areas such as company law, law clinics, community law projects, human trafficking, and enterprise management. Across all three years, the program emphasizes practical application, critical thinking, and professional development, equipping graduates to navigate complex legal and business environments confidently and effectively.
