COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) International Business degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the global business landscape, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare graduates for international careers. In the first year, students explore the fundamentals of international business, studying modules such as Discovering International Business, Exploring Business Environments, International Business Interactions, and participating in the Social Enterprise Challenge, which fosters teamwork and real-world problem-solving skills. In the second year, the focus shifts to developing analytical, strategic, and operational capabilities through modules like Business Solutions Lab, From Data to Decisions, From Source to Shelf in International Trade, and Navigating Complexity in International Business, enabling students to understand global supply chains, data-driven decision-making, and complex business environments. In the final year, students refine their leadership, strategic, and innovative thinking in modules such as Leading the Future in International Business and Strategy and Innovation Across Borders, preparing them to tackle challenges in multinational corporations and cross-cultural business contexts. Optional modules, including Innovations and Insights, Pioneers and Entrepreneurs, and Preparing for Leadership, offer opportunities for further specialisation and practical application.
