COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) International Business Communication (IBC) degree provides a comprehensive pathway for students to develop advanced communication skills within a global business context. Across the three years, students gain a solid foundation in business, marketing, and enterprise, while also focusing on the intercultural and linguistic competencies essential for international professional environments. In the first year, core modules cover introductory business concepts, marketing, communication, and study skills, alongside optional modules that enhance English language proficiency and cultural awareness. The second year builds on this foundation, emphasizing specialized skills such as financial English, intercultural communication, enterprise, and management practice, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts. By the final year, students concentrate on advanced professional and intercultural communication, managing international business and trade, and conducting independent research through a dissertation and a translation project.
