COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion and Marketing course provides students with the expertise and creative skills needed to thrive in the competitive fashion industry. In the first year, students gain a solid foundation through compulsory modules such as Introduction to Fashion Communication and Styling, Fashion Promotion in Context, Creative CAD, and Critical Studies in Fashion and Textiles 1, developing both practical and theoretical understanding of fashion promotion, styling, and design. The second year focuses on preparing students for industry practice, with modules including Preparation for Industry, Digital Media and Content Creation, Creative Collaboration and Industry Focus, and Critical Studies in Fashion and Textiles 2. These modules allow students to apply their skills to real-world scenarios, understand consumer engagement, and explore digital marketing, branding, and visual communication. Optional modules such as Styling Specialism or Promotion Specialism offer opportunities to tailor learning to specific career interests. In the final year, students consolidate their skills through Show Production and a Creative Career Portfolio, showcasing their expertise in fashion promotion, styling, and campaign creation. Optional modules including Styling Final Project, Promotion Final Campaign, Creative Marketing Report, and Critical Studies in Fashion and Textiles 3 enable further specialization. Overall, the course equips students with practical experience, creative confidence, industry insight, and professional knowledge to succeed in fashion marketing, promotion, and brand management roles.
