The BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management program provides a comprehensive education in managing people and organizations, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills and industry insight. In Year 1, students build foundational understanding through modules such as Compliance, Catalysts, and Commitment, Discovering Human Resource Management, Exploring Business Environments, and the Social Enterprise Challenge, which introduce HR principles, business operations, and ethical considerations. Year 2 focuses on applied learning and strategic skills with modules including Business Solutions Lab, Fostering Talent and Potential, From Data to Decisions, and Navigating Complexity in Business and Human Resource Management, helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities while understanding workforce development and organizational strategy. In the final year, students refine leadership and global HR management skills through modules such as Leading the Future in Business and Human Resource Management and Managing a Global Workforce, preparing them to address complex challenges in diverse and international contexts. Optional modules provide further specialization in areas such as business research, enterprise, leadership, and future-focused business strategies.
