COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business and Entrepreneurship course provides a comprehensive framework for developing the skills, knowledge, and mindset required to succeed as an entrepreneur or business leader. In Year 1, students are introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business through modules such as Discovering Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Thinking, Exploring Business Environments, and the Social Enterprise Challenge. These modules focus on understanding the business landscape, identifying opportunities, and developing creative problem-solving skills. Year 2 emphasizes practical application and strategic thinking with modules including Business Solutions Lab, From Data to Decisions, Navigating Complexity in Entrepreneurship, and Venture Creation in Action, enabling students to implement business ideas, analyze data, and manage entrepreneurial projects in real-world scenarios. In the final year, students refine leadership, ethical decision-making, and innovation skills through modules such as Innovation, Integrity and Impact and Leading the Future in Entrepreneurship. Optional modules allow further specialization, covering areas such as business research, enterprise development, leadership preparation, and future-focused business strategies. Throughout the course, students engage in hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and enterprise challenges, gaining practical experience that complements academic study. By the end of the degree, graduates are equipped to launch their own ventures, drive innovation within organizations, or pursue careers in business development, consulting, and management, combining entrepreneurial creativity with strategic insight.
