COURSE CURRICULUM

The undergraduate finance and accounting program provides a structured progression of knowledge and skills over three years, preparing students for careers in financial management, accounting, and business analysis. In the first year, students are introduced to foundational concepts through modules such as Information Systems for Business Performance, The Professional Accountant, Introduction to Management Accounting, and Introduction to Financial Accounting. These courses establish core competencies in accounting principles, financial reporting, and the use of information systems to support business decision-making. The second year builds on this foundation with more applied and analytical modules, including Data Systems, Analysis and Insights, Financial Management, Practical Financial Accounting, and Accounting for Decision Making. Students develop their ability to interpret and analyze financial data, enhance problem-solving skills, and understand the practical application of accounting principles in organizational contexts. In the final year, the focus shifts to strategic and advanced topics, including the Strategic Finance Project, Behind Business Numbers, Business Analysis and Valuation, and Data Analytics and FinTech. These modules enable students to integrate knowledge across financial and business domains, apply analytical tools, and explore emerging technologies in finance. By the end of the program, graduates are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of accounting, financial management, data analysis, and strategic decision-making, ready to enter professional roles or pursue further qualifications in the field.
