COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business and Marketing program at Kent Business School offers a comprehensive education in business and marketing, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world experience. In the first year, students build a foundation in management, financial accounting, economics, marketing, business analysis tools, and sustainability, gaining essential analytical and business skills. The second year develops these skills further with compulsory modules in marketing strategy, digital business, consumer behaviour, marketing research, brand management, and enterprise, alongside opportunities to explore leadership, international marketing, and decision analysis. Optional modules allow students to tailor their studies to their interests and career goals. The final year focuses on advanced marketing and digital skills, including digital and social media analytics and marketing communications, advertising, and promotion, while optional modules provide opportunities to specialise in areas such as business strategy, corporate social responsibility, services marketing, cross-cultural management, international entrepreneurship, behavioural science, and leadership development. Throughout the program, students engage in practical projects, live briefs, and research activities that simulate professional marketing environments, equipping them with critical thinking, creativity, and analytical abilities.
