COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business and Management program at Kent Business School provides a comprehensive education in business principles while emphasizing ethical leadership and sustainable practices. In the first year, students build a foundation in management, financial accounting, economics, marketing, business analysis tools, and skills for a sustainable future, equipping them with both theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities. The second year develops these skills further through compulsory modules in business ethics and sustainability, operations management, human resource management, project management, and enterprise and entrepreneurship, while optional modules allow students to tailor their learning with areas such as international marketing, decision analysis, management accounting, and leadership in dynamic workplaces. In the final year, students focus on strategic and leadership skills through compulsory modules in business strategy and leading people and organisations, with optional modules covering digital and social media analytics, predictive analytics, cross-cultural management, corporate social responsibility, new venture creation, services marketing, behavioural science, and research projects. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience, analytical skills, and the ability to solve real-world business problems, preparing them to make evidence-based decisions and lead with integrity. Graduates leave equipped to pursue careers in management, consultancy, entrepreneurship, and other business-focused roles, combining strong business knowledge with ethical awareness and leadership skills.
