COURSE CURRICULUM

This course offers an in-depth exploration of various psychological aspects related to work and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on research methods and practical application. The Leadership, Motivation and Engagement (15 credits) module explores theories of work motivation, leadership, and employee engagement, helping students assess the impact of leadership styles and organizational citizenship behaviors. In the Learning, Training and Development (15 credits) module, students critically examine cognitive theories of learning, occupational choice, and the psychological foundations of training and development, emphasizing evaluation and the link to organizational innovation.Modules such as Work Design, Change, and Development (15 credits) broaden students’ understanding of the organizational context, focusing on global trends, risk management, and organizational change strategies. The Evidence-Based Practice (15 credits) module teaches students how to evaluate, synthesize, and apply evidence effectively, fostering skills in systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and critical evaluation. Lastly, the Psychological Assessment at Work (15 credits) module allows students to develop a critical understanding of assessment methods in work settings, considering fairness, diversity, and the broader organizational impact of best practices. This comprehensive curriculum prepares students to apply psychological principles in various professional settings, promoting effective organizational practices and wellbeing.
