Project Management provides insight into managing projects using appropriate tools, while Technology Mathematics and Fundamentals of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering offer the mathematical and engineering grounding essential for future studies and problem-solving. In the second year, the program deepens students’ understanding of systems and application development. Computer Architectures and Operating Systems explains hardware-software interactions, while Web Programming 1 and 2 introduce full-stack web development using technologies like PHP and XAMPP. Applications in AI and Data Science and Information Analysis and Visualisation begin to integrate data science and machine learning into practical contexts. Additional modules such as Programming for Engineers, Mobile Applications for Engineering, and Sensors and Networks offer hands-on experience with real-world systems like IoT, mobile development, and network integration, further bridging software with hardware. In the final year, students explore advanced and applied topics, including Machine Learning and Advanced Topics in Data Science and AI, focusing on practical implementation of algorithms and business applications. Modules such as Digital Business, Human Computer Interaction and Design, and Leadership prepare students for roles that require both technical acumen and strategic thinking. Information Retrieval gives them the ability to process and analyse structured and unstructured data effectively. The Final Year Project allows students to demonstrate independent research, technical implementation, and problem-solving within their engineering specialism.
