The entrepreneurship and innovation program across three years offers students a well-rounded, interdisciplinary education that blends creative thinking, analytical skills, and real-world application. In Year 1, students are introduced to core concepts through modules such as Design Thinking and Innovation, Economics, and The Impact Mindset, which collectively build a foundation in entrepreneurial ideation, economic literacy, and social awareness. Practical modules like Data Analysis and Visualisation and Introduction to Finance for Business develop technical competencies, while Global Issues and Foundations of Entrepreneurship expand their understanding of international and venture dynamics. Year 2 deepens this foundation with a more applied focus, where students explore Cross-Cultural Management and Business Ethics to navigate organisational and ethical complexities, while modules like Technology & Innovation Management and Digital Marketing for Startups equip them with tools to manage and promote ventures in an evolving market. Modules such as The Art of Storytelling and Consultancy in Practice foster communication and consultancy skills essential for entrepreneurial success, while SDG Action Lab and Entrepreneurship in the Global Context encourage sustainability and a global entrepreneurial perspective. In Year 3, the curriculum becomes highly experiential and strategy-driven. Key modules such as Business Strategy, Negotiations, and Responsible Innovation empower students to analyse and lead within complex business environments. Entrepreneurship in Action and Venture Creation allow students to build and test real-life business ideas, while Startup Operations offers a forward-looking take on AI integration in entrepreneurial ventures. Contemporary Issues in Entrepreneurship ensures students reflect on pressing global challenges and their roles in addressing them through innovation. This structure not only provides students with a toolkit to launch their own ventures or lead innovation within existing organisations but also instils a deep awareness of the ethical, social, and global implications of entrepreneurship, preparing them for impactful, responsible careers in a rapidly changing world.
