COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Electronic Engineering is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of modern electronic systems. Central to the program is the 60-credit MSc Project and Dissertation, where students apply their knowledge to an independent research or design project, integrating skills in design, simulation, and implementation of complex electronic systems. Core modules include Theory of Signals and Communication Systems, providing a foundation in signal processing and system analysis, and Introduction to Programming in Python, which equips students with essential programming skills for engineering applications. Programming Embedded Systems and Electronic System Design and Integration develop expertise in hardware-software co-design, embedded system development, and the practical integration of electronic components into functional systems. The Professional Practice and Research Methodology module prepares students with the necessary research, project management, and professional skills to execute projects effectively and ethically. Flexibility is offered through a 45-credit optional module, allowing students to tailor their learning to specific areas of interest, such as digital signal processing, advanced circuits, or communications systems. By combining rigorous theoretical study, hands-on laboratory work, and independent research, the program ensures that graduates are equipped with the technical competence, analytical skills, and professional knowledge required to excel in careers in electronics, telecommunications, and related technology-driven industries.
