COURSE CURRICULUM

The MFA Acting for Digital Media at East 15 Acting School is structured over two years to provide comprehensive, industry-focused training that prepares performers for the technological demands of contemporary performance. In the first year, students engage with core-with-options modules, each worth 30 credits, allowing them to tailor their training to individual interests while developing foundational skills across performance capture, voice work, and acting for camera. These modules provide a flexible approach to learning, combining practical exercises, technical training, and collaborative projects that build both artistic and professional competence. In the final year, students progress to advanced core modules, including the Performance Capture Project, Screen Project, and Recorded Voice II, each designed to deepen technical expertise and apply skills in practical, performance-based contexts. Industry Preparation II equips students with the professional knowledge and strategies required to navigate careers in digital performance, including networking, portfolio development, and engagement with emerging media technologies. Throughout the program, students consolidate their skills through practical application, professional projects, and collaborations with peers, creating a versatile and adaptable portfolio of work. By the end of the course, graduates are highly skilled performers, proficient in motion capture, voice recording, and on-camera techniques, fully prepared to pursue diverse career opportunities in gaming, film, animation, and other digital media sectors.
