COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLM Law, Environment and Sustainability at Essex provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the legal, policy, and practical aspects of environmental protection and sustainable development. Central to the program is the 60-credit dissertation, allowing students to undertake in-depth, independent research in areas of law, environment, and sustainability, applying critical analysis and research skills. Core modules include International Environmental Law and Sustainability, Public International Law, and Academic Skills in International Law, providing a strong foundation in both substantive legal knowledge and essential academic competencies.
